Looking to get a 2-7x scope to put on a HandiRifle chambered in 358 Winchester.

Wondering how the Weaver Classic 2-7x32 stacks up against the Leupold VX-II 2-7x33.

Size/weight, etc. are pretty close.

I simply haven't looked through Weaver scopes in years until this week when I got a 4X for a rimfire and it looks like a pretty decent scope, particularly for the $$.

So, if anyone has current experience with either of these (preferably both) I'd be interested in your thoughts.

Thanks

I have both of them. The Weaver is good for the $ but the VXII edges it out on optics, eye relief is about the same. The Weaver is half the price of a VXII you have to decide if it's worth it to you.

Thanks - appreciate the feedback from someone who has both.
