I have what I am pretty certain is a 99-E Light Weight in 300 Savage. It has a 24" barrel with the integral sight (i.e. made as part of the barrel not dovetailed). I am fabricating a front sight blade but don't know how high it is supposed to be or what shape the originals were.

Can some kind soul who owns a similar rifle post a picture of their front sight and measure (preferably with a caliper or micrometer) from the bottom of the barrel to the top of the sight blade?

Thanks much,

CHB
