Only a so-so deal as the builder did not start with best quality parts. OK parts, and it might turn out to be a nice rifle at the end of the day but most serious 220 Swift builders would use different components as a base.

Thanks for the heads up.

Are you an outfitter or guide up there? Seeing your avatar brings back a lot of memories and has me looking forward to getting done with my Alimony payments so I can get back up there for another try at Mr. Bear.

Mark,

I'm a gonna do a yes, but on ya here.
Yes, but, that action alone is worth the $350 asking price for the whole rifle.
You buy it, and if it doesn't shoot, you have a great action for a future build.
Someone, somewhere will buy the barrel and stock, so you'll get some revenue from those too.
Now, a question is, is the receiver drilled and tapped for scope mounts? Also, what kind of saftey does it have? These questions are not necessary for buying the rifle, cause $350 is a great price without the above questions being answered to our benefit.

That's assuming the action hasn't been bubba'd, and's really an obendorf.

I'd assume that anyone that would put that barrel and stock on a mauser action, likely doesn't know the difference between a VZ-24, turkish etc mauser action.

I'd also wonder if the barrel was completely chambered or just screwed in the action with the short chamber. It does say project rifle, you have to wonder how far allong the project was taken.

Throw a Brux barrel on it and it will be really nice, sell that barrel for $75 and be happy with the new one.
