The Hornady dies load straight but the collar lock on the decapper rod sucks big time. It takes a wrench to tighten or loosen it and then it will still slip, at least IME.

I used to work in a machine shop, so little nuances to tools and parts like that are something I kind of got used to. I forgot about that little deal. My fix for it was to degrease thoroughly, then I bead blasted (Copper Slag) the stem in the area where it rides in the lock collar. Never had a problem since.
I did notice that this new Hornady die set has "The New and Improved Zip Spindle" Which is threaded, like everybody elses.
The reason I accumulated a few set of Hornady dies was that I found myself needing a tapered expander, and they come stock in the Hornady's. Makes it super easy to neck up Lapua 243 brass to 260
