Taken about 20 yards from the truck! That's even better.Land locked public land with roads. So even puss gutted fat [bleep] can score. That first shot with the 7 mag must of been before they could get the truck shut off. Then once he got a solid rest on the window sill,he was able to really get some hunting done.

1974- what evidence do you have to back up the accusations you're making?

I see a common theme in these pictures and understand where 1974 is going. Would Bobski mind answering a question?
Were these elk killed on public ground that the public can access via the same route as those hunters?
My question takes nothing away from the animals posted. All are great animals.
Nothing wrong with being led around by the dick and being told when to shoot. Nothing wrong when hunting private ground or land locked public ground. Just be honest about it when posting.
Sorry that some on here do not see the common theme, 1974 posted it, look back...
... and "No", I am not jealous, I have already been a part of the killing of big bulls this year, no tag for me. My tags are all for girls this year. Again, all fine animals.

Skeptics are never satisfied. There's nothing to be gained engaging with them.
Any questions have already been answered in post #3394628, but all are from public land readily accessible by anyone. My two posted here (I have several others from other nearby Areas,) also different public land mostly very near Cody, as was my friend's.

Thanks for clearly answering my question. I guess a yes or no to "can the public access this area via the same route" was too complicated. Great animals. Congrats.
I have some readily accessible land available to me. I can access it by simply driving into some private land. Other guys must walk ten miles in by foot. Readily accessible?

What's so complicated about this?
It's a big dead elk. If he hunted it, good on him. If he friggin ran it over with a Ford, who cares?

You are right and I will let this go after this post. A simple answer is too much for some people. Killing elk on private land or killing elk on locked public land just fails to impress me and some other guys from Wyoming. I have access to some private that I could dump a 300" bull every year. I choose not to hunt this place because I think it is gay. Do you want to know what I think to be the most impressive elk posted this year on the fire? Right here http://24hourcampfire.com/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php/topics/3389653/Wapiti_1_returns_home#Post3389653Here is a guy that lives in freaking Minn and comes to Colorado, hunts on his own, on his own two feet and manages to get a cow elk for himself and a cow for his kid. This is impressive, not some bulls killed near a truck on questionable access. Enjoy the big bull pictures boys, give me a cow killed on your own.

FWIW, I've got 4 hunts planned this year...2 on low fence places I can bring my kids. The other 2 are DIY, week long backpack hunts, miles off the road, no wheelers or pickemups allowed.
We don't actually plan our hunts in the local zoo. They're more of a crime of opportunity. Ya oughta see those hippos try to hide.
But I couldn't care less if your elk, or anyone else's, has a Chevy bowtie bruise on it's ribs... I've actually got a life.
