Question for the experts.....
A friend has a .338wm, (of sourse it is the end all of elk rifle calibers in his mind, oh by the way he has never shot one) He reloads for it & I snitched a couple of fired cases to measure (he doesn't) and found expansion of the case body just above the belt of a bit over .055 over a new one & the belt is flatened a bit too. I told him to chuck them, he insists they are just fine. Opinion?
I also told him I wouldn't stand around him @ the range or in the field because I don't like flying body parts generated by a Mod 70
