Good eye. It is indeed. Picked it up in 2007 during their "Scratch and Dent" sale for $620 including the traditional pole set. Was supposed to be a 14'x16' but it came out at 13.5' x 15.5' so most customers didn't want it. Plan on buying at least 1 if not 2 more this year along with another stove. Burning lumps of coal at night sure is nice when you get up in the morning and its still nice and warm. Only complaint I have is when burning any sort of pine the arrestor has to be cleaned daily as it gums up bad. However this year we found a aspen grove for our wood supply and never had to clean the arrestor once.

Here's ours. A friend who brings his wife stays in the camper. 5 other friends and I stay in the "Snore Shack". It's an old military wall tent, but works great and gives us plenty of room.

So those of you that are taking RVs in, how far in do you go and then how far do you drive with vehicle, ATV or Horse or foot to get to hunting areas?

I"ve never done anything past about Mid Sept in the mountains but would like to try, I just have no clue how you tell where its safe to camp and where not to, and i'm unforutnately used to sleeping with the elk with a backpack on mostly...

I forgot my digital camera so I dont have any pics of our Arizona cow elk camp for this year but I will make sure and take some of the bull elk camp at the end of November.

Davis tent and Awning as recommended on the board is the only company to get a wall tent from. I am extremely pleased with everything including the extended fly to form an awning. That was everyones favorite part of the tent lol. I hadnt gotten the kwik kamp stove yet which came in teh day we got back lol so I am thinking that will be the new favorite feature on the late bull hunt

We pack in 7 miles then set up the tent. We just pull a rope through a couple of trees and drape the tent over the rope. Bring some side poles for the walls.

Only the one picture of pulling in to camp on Thanksgiving Day, but you get the idea. Oh, and the question regarding RV's, I usually have an idea of where I'm going to park within the first few scouting trips, the 'ol Ford can generally handle the rest wink.

Here was home for the first of days of elk season a few years back. Packing it in on your back 7.5 miles precludes a very elaborate camp...
