About 3-4 years ago my dad passed away in Missoula, Montana, my step mother directed that a couple of his guns be sold, before I arrived, and without his knowledge ( or mine ) a custom built 25-06 was removed from the closet. Dad bought this rifle in 1957 from Bob Ward's son-in-law. It is a custom by a gunmaker of the time that did business up @ Evaro just outside of Missoula ( Groom ). It is on a small ring Mauser action, faily heavy walnut stock, marked "25-06 imp - Groom", and was last seen wearing a Leupold 3 X 9, I believe. I have the original forming dies / loading dies, and some loaded amunition ( empties too ) I'd really like to buy it back so I can pass it on to the kids. ( I can also tell you what it likes to shoot, sub MOA ) Any Info anyone can provide I'd appreciate.
