I am trying to find dad's custom 25-06, sold by my stepmother about the time dad passed away in Missoula (about 4 years ago, maybe in Billings). It was made in about 1956 by a gunsmith named Groom who worked just out of Missoula, Montana, & dad purchased it from Bob Ward's son-in-law in 1957. (Bob Ward's was still on Higgins Avenue back then for you old Missoulians) Made on a small ring Mauser action & marked 25-06 IMP GROOM on the barrel, walnut stock, Leupold 3 X 9 (as I recall), I have the custom dies,(loading & forming) loaded & empty brass, & know it's favorite loads. I'd like to buy it back to pass on to the grandkids someday, I'll pay you what you paid + $100 if you will sell it back. If you love it like dad did, I'll make you a deal on the goodies if you will give me a 1st call if & when you decide to sell or trade.
