Does anyone have a receiver sight for a 23C they want to sell,or know what one I need to look for.

I think you will have to cut the stock and D&T to use that one.
Which style if 23C do have...early or late (what is the serial range?). I don't think any of the 23 center fires were D&T'ed for a receiver sight. They were set up for the rimfire target peep sight. The two different sized holes on the top rear are for the Savage #5 or #10. If there are three holes you can use the #15. You will probably need a higher front sight, also.

Rick Not sure if it is an early or late 23 as I won't be picking it up till tomorrow. I do know that it has been cut and D&T'd for a receiver sight.

The 23's have a safety indicator on the left side of the stock where the receiver sight attaches. The location of the mounting holes might help to identify what sight it was D&T'ed for.

I used to have a 23B cut in the same place for a reciever sight.
The sight you want is a 42SS by Lyman.
There might actually be one on a certain auction site right now but I won't post live auctions, good luck.
