Opening day for Minnesota�s ruffled grouse season yesterday. The numbers were suppose to be down! I had about 15 flushes & shot 3 birds in 3 � hours. Then the dog says it�s too hot (70) & comes up with a limp! He had hurt his foot about a month ago & I had him to the vet. . The vet put him on anti-inflammation medicine & to rest him. I did that & he seem to be ok. That was until yesterday. I decided to give him a break today & maybe try it tomorrow . Damn the luck!!

I had a horse one time that cut her front foot, right above the hoof, on some barbed wire. When it healed and I started riding her again, she would start limping after a short ride. I would put her back in the corral and get another horse, until one day I noticed that she was limping on the wrong foot. I made her go on and she quit limping. Never tried it again. I haven't figured out if she was smart or dumb. miles
