I shot one of these this morning, trying to get in some shooting before the wind picked up. Got four shots into .350" but the wind got the fifth one. This was at 100 yards, so, the little buggers will certainly shoot, if you work at it. I was using a Harris S-BR bipod and a sandbag under the butt end. Sure wish that little rascal was mine, but it belongs to a buddy. I think I will have to have one of them, that ain't bad for a little rimfire!

Mach II, but my HMR in a Marlin shoots as well. I don't know why, but everything in HMR shoots darned well. This little Mach II of my buddy's seems to carry on that characteristic, too, even in these cheaply made little Marlins. I think I'm going to have to have one myself, they are a ball to shoot.

Last week I bought a .17 hummer in the Marlin h.b. topped with a Weaver 3X9 a.o.
I haven't shot it much, just sighted in, but at 75 yards i get .570" with any of the 3 major brands of ammo.
So far it's accounted for 4 fox squirrels and a large mangy feral cat.
It's a bit much for squirrels, destroys too much edibles, but they fall deader 'n a free lunch.
I can live with the bullet blow up and go for head or chest shots as I don't eat squirrel lungs and ribs.
Next year it'll be my fence walker groundhog getting.
Awesome power in a little package.
I ordered a new 4X12 a.o. millet scope and 5 boxes of hornady ammo.
I'm thinking seriously about the Mach2 conversion for my 10-22.
