After reading all of the comments last week about the merits of the 168 tsx, I bought a box to try in my 300 weatherby. I have some great shooting loads worked up in the 200 grain, but after reading the post down below about the preformance on the grizzly I decided to try the lighter version. If anyone has any loads that they could share, I would appreciate it.
Thanks wildwyo

Here's a load that has worked for me on deer. It's been quite accurate in my Sako 75. I haven't Chrony'd it yet, so I don't know how fast it is. I expect around 3300 fps, but I don't know.
84 grs. RL22 168 gr Barnes TSX Norma brass Fed 215 primer
As always, start lower and work up to this load. If you change any component (especially brand of brass), you may end up with a load that's too hot. Of course, this load could be hot in your rifle anyway, as all rifles are different.
Good luck with it. The 168 gr. TSX is a great bullet.

Wildwyo,
FWIW, Just finished a 300 RUM that shot the 168 TSX's at 3340fps average into repeatable 3 shot groups in the high .450's range at 100 yrds.
Specs as follows: RP brass Rem 9 1/2M primers 95.0 grains RE 25 168 TSX OAL was 3.646
I know it's not the same gun/cartridge, but the RE25 really made this one sing. It didn't like Retumbo.
As required, load was safe in this specific gun, work up to your Max carefully.
Good luck.
