Just got an email from Karl saying he has finished my 270 Weatherby. I must say from the pictures that he sent me it is the nicest looking rifle of all my customs. Had Karl build it with a laminated for something different. Also had him set it up with a Banser stock. I think you would agree he did a great job on it.

Action Trued
Fit barrel to action, chamber, crown, and engrave
Cerakote complete rifle
TI bolt fluting
New magazine follower
BDL bottom metal & mag box
Broughton barrel 24
Tune factory trigger to 2 1/2 lbs.
1 set of action screws
Pillar bed BDL laminated wood stock and inlet barrel
channel for magnum barrel
Hand checkered stock
Treat checkering with boiled linseed oil
Pillar bed High Tech ADL stock
Prep High Tech Stock for coating & coat with Zolatone
Install 1" decelerator on the wood and synthetic stock
Sling swivel studs for the wood stock
Holland Recoil lug
New cocking piece and firing pin
Talley rings lapped and coated
Swarovski Z5 5x25x50 scope
Custom load development from Karl for 130s

I like the laminated stock and overall a pretty cool blueprint. Nice rifle for sure.

Awesome. Did the laminated stock come off of a B&C special edition Rem 700?

The stock was just a regular laminated stock from Remington. It was checkered by a women who use to work for Cooper rifles. I wanted a little something different from the standard checker. Little pricey though. The recoil pads was installed by Karl

Spoke to Karl and he said that the rifle was a shooter and it was shooting constant 3/8" groups with the loads he develop for it. Anyone considering having a rifle built should seriously consider Karl as their gunsmith

That has got to be the ugliest gun I have even seen - jerk! Thanks for nothing. I hope you are happy, making a grown man cry. Merry Christmas and Happy New year you Scrouge.

(you know I am just kidding right)
