Well just got back from opening weekend. Did pretty good I might say. I got a decent 5 point buck in Livingston Manor with my Browning BAR Short-Trac .270 WSM. 110 yrd. shot. Bang flop. Then I drove to Afton and bagged a real big doe with my 1923 "G". Freezer is full and I still have one more tag to fill. No pics of the doe, just a pic of the 99 I used, sorry...!!!

Thanks Guys... I would have hunted the 99G where I got the buck but I was working a 300 yrd. field and did not want to take a chance with open sights. The rifle can do it, not too sure about me though...!!! grin grin grin

At least the 99 got one for me. The doe was only 35 yrds. away. It was another bang flop. Gonna be some good eating for sure...!!!
