I have the G1 Guide while two of my partners this year had the G2 Standard and the G2 Rondevous. After my partner stuffed the 8' plus grizzly in the Standard pack there was no room left for other gear. I find the Guide to be sufficient in most cases and served me well in a 15 day packpack hunt this year. I was able to pack out all the meet and the lifesize cape for a sheep and all my gear. I am 180 lbs and the pack fits and feels great. I attach an extra panier on the side at all times which brings it close to the Rondy size. My partner's Rondy is as much pack as a guy can handle and in hindsite I may have gone with the big boy. Going in I prefer to have everything (tent, bag, etc) inside the pack, going out loaded the tent usually has be strapped on the outside. I use the pack at all times whether it be for training, a one day hunt or a two week trip.
At 150 lbs I would go with the Guide but I don't know the full story (how and what you hunt, your conditioning, etc).
