Proudly representing oil companies, defense contractors, and firearms manufacturers since 1980. Because merchants of death need lawyers, too.

what a spectacular country! It sure is. High snow-topped mountains, vast deserts, dense tropical rainforests...seeing it from a lounge on a beach at Vera Cruz is wholly different from seeing it from the inside of a Chihuahua calabozo though.

Es la verdad! In the 50's bail used to be $500.00....I wonder what it is now?

missus fish and i visited her brother and his family in puebla. the brother is a missionary in a new southern baptist management position, responsible for teams trying to reach 144 different "people groups" across mexico. we saw much of the interior of the country from mexico city south to oaxaca. what a land of contrasts, geographic and demographic. puebla is a modern, university city of 2 million (the beautiful new mall has a prada store). yet at the city limits, camposenos make brick in their back yards, and farm every bit of arable land. in teotitlan, a tiny village known for its traditional weaving by indigenous folks from locally grown sheep's wool, there is a tiny internet cafe or two. teotitlan is just a few miles by dirt road to benito juarez's home village. what mountains! what incredible, horizon expanding valleys! the bride and i will be going back ...
