Anybody got any field reports on the Zen Ray binoculars? How are they holding up to hard use?

I don't hunt as much as some here, but I've really used mine hard the past two months in wet and cold conditions, as well as dirt blowing, sandy, arid conditions on our mule deer hunts. They are holding up well and continue to provide a fantastic view. My only gripe is with the cheesy lens covers, which are too loose to stay on very good. Our mule deer hunting really, really taxes optics because it's so sandy. In fact, my buddy was riding out of one of our hunt areas too fast on his ATV, and banged his EL's on the handlebars, knocking the right barrel out of alignment. It also would not focus anymore. I'm sure Swaro will take care of him. So far so good for me.

Mine have been out on three hunts in AZ and NM. Holding up just fine! Glassed up a pronghorn in the predawn light, ending that hunt in September, and drug them around for 3 days on my Nov archery Elk hunt here in AZ. Phenomenal view and performance, even down to single digit temps and sleet. I wish I could've tested them further, but I tagged out on the third morning...nice problem to have. I did manage to drop mine about 2 feet onto a tile floor hereat home and dented the outer metal on the focusing wheel a bit. Didn't affect the function or feel at all, and the only way I noticed the dent was out of boredom 3 weeks later while sitting on a groundblind.

Mine are holding up great. They have been on a couple of hot weather hunts and a couple of wet and snowy hunts. I agree with the remark about the poor lens covers.
