Hello clyde, and welcome to the forum.

The model 75c was a variant of the Marin model 60. I believe it was marketed by Montgomery Ward. It had the pressed in picture on the stock, and if I recall, it was about 10 dollars cheaper than the Marlin model 60. I'm aware of no differences other than minor cosmetic ones. I'm not sure of the exact dates of manufacture, but they were common in the 1970's.

The Model 60 is a popular, affordable tube fed semiautomatic .22 rifle that get's the job done. Not the best, but far from the worst.

I thought that rifle with the squirrel on the stock was pretty cool, especially when I was a kid.
