Well, I was talking to a buddy at work who shares the same passions as I do (firearms, hunting, and Product Management laugh ) and somehow we got to talking about the internet.

He mentioned this website he used to visit years ago - "24hourcampfire"

"No [bleep]?" I said! I'm on there posting, lurking, or both almost every day.

He told me some of the old folks would recognize his name. I just did a quick search for some of his old posts and based on his post count I do believe a few of you would remember the venerable Muley Stalker

Little did I know I sit within earshot of a 24hcf legend! haha!!

You guys only had to listen to his typing - I have to look at his ugly mug every day! grin

Scott was my favorite poster and likely the best hunter I ever met. Never any BS from that guy.
Say hi for me

He's a good one. Miss his posts...

Anybody who seriously concerns themselves with the adequacy of a Big 7mm for anything we hunt here short of brown bear, is a dufus. They are mostly making shidt up. Crunch! Nite-nite!

Scott is a great guy and a damn good hunter. I've shared a couple meals/beers with him and miss his posts. I don't get to Denver anymore but need to give him a ring.

Tell him to get his butt back here!

A feeble attempt to force me out of retirement smile

Things have been good here. Just busy.

Still hunting (go figure), but never as much as I'd like. Did manage a decent bull this year (7x8) and my oldest daughter still has a couple deer tags, so the season is not over.

Hope you're all doing well. I'll try to stop in a little more often.

BTW, had a little moment of panick there, thinking all those nekkid pictures are still hanging around! Wouldn't want to tarnish my reputation! They're all gone, right???? laugh
