I have a 223 Contender and had some light loaded ammo I was using in my rifle for reduced load grey squirrel hunting loads. they shot very well and wanted to try them out in my T/C.

First shot 1.5 inches low dead center. (funny how columination a scope puts you quite close!) Adjusted cross hairs, shot 2 more times. dead center. shots about 1/2 apart, measuring outer bullet hole to outer bullet hole.

I hope 6 gr of Unique and the 40 gr sierra is not too devastating on the Greys this fall! Want some part of them to eat!

Anyone else use a downloaded 223 for squirrels for the pot?

Whatever you are willing to put up with, is exactly what you will have.

When your ship comes in. ... make sure you are willing to unload it.

PAYPAL, sucks and I will never use them again. I recommend you do the same.
