I bought a used 30-06 #1 and the block is pitted on the sides. I guess it's pitted. It has little black squiggly lines and dots on it. I think it is stainless steel. Also the forearm is a lot lighter colored on one side like it was left in a window and was faded by the sun. Can I send it to Ruger to get refinished. I would hate to take it to a local furniture shop. Thoughts? Thank you in advance for your help.
