300 WinMag Sendero with a Leupold Mark 4 tactical scope and 30 match grade cases ready. 168g Matchkings are standing by. Any suggestions as to what to stack them on top of? Where do I start? Thanks!

I would start any handloading venture with a .300 WIN MAG using Reloder 22 - it's a go-to powder in that cartridge. About 78 grains +/- a half should be about right, use a magnum large rifle primer (FED215M should work well).

Used to shoot Sierras 168 MKs out of my Sendero with this load... H4831sc 76.0 gr. BR2 Primer
Less than .5 moa...when I did my part....shot it the whole way out to 880yds...which is all the space I could come up with at the time...

+3 for RL22. Failing that, a case full of H4831SC will do the trick as well, and I had good success with IMR4350 and a 180 grainer as well, believe it or not.

Play around with RL22 I doubt you will need to look any farther than that.

oh and i did try some 165gr sierra gk's with rel 22. no real noticable point of impact change from starting load to max, but that could be from shooting at 100 yrds. loads were from nosler manual. look at the max for 180's and thats my goto using fed215

H-1000 is a very consistent powder in the 300 win The following groups were all shot at 300 yards
I got banned on another web site for a debate that happened on this site. That's a first

Without a doubt RL-22 works great in a 300 Winny and I used it for years. Now days, there is anew dog on the block called RL-25. For the 300 Winny is is simply magic. 168s with 82.5gr of RL-25 works really well. The same load works with 165gr Accubonds. In my Sendero it gives 3/8" groups.
