Can you use Lee dies in RCBS presses, and vis-versa?

I use both Lee and RCBS dies / shell holders (for pistol and rifle) in my Lee Presses, and my reloading friend uses my LEE dies in his RCBS Rock Chucker. Never had a problem with interchange ability. As long as the die thread size matches the press I don't think you should run into problems.

Yes.

Virtually all of today's (and most of yesteryears) dies and presses have the same thread and diameter.

Some presses now have a threaded insert in the die hole that can be removed to accomodate the larger dies for the older (big) cartridges and the BMG.

Well you can use RCBS dies in Lee presses just fine. But some might have you believe any RCBS press will seize up in humilation if you use a Lee die or shell holder in it. wink

i tell you the truth,i like the easy adjustments on my lee dies better then rcbs dies. if you are loading at one length all the time rcbs dies are fine,but i hardly ever do,so i like lee better.
