After my camera having been in the clutches of the USPS until yesterday, I FINALLY got to take a couple of pics of my Roy knife. I think it goes well with this...




The scales are lignum vitae. 5.5" blade with th muscular spine for a super hunting/working knife. It was given to me the Thursday before the Pig Hunt. It field dressed my boar 2 days later for its christening. This is one awesome knife and I will use it for any time I spend in the woods!!

Sweet! Mine should be done end of March-ish. I'll post when he gets it done. It's a similar pattern but with burled maple scales and D2 steel on a pattern he and I sketched out down at the pig hunt.

Shot my boar with my JP Sauer& Sohn cape gun. I was on a mission. My Dad gave me the rifle the month before he died. As for the flinter, it shoots well with 100 g FFG and a prb. I carried it for most of the season except for 2 days. Elegant rifle.

It is 50 caliber. Custom rifle by B Turner. Lancaster style. Nice wide butt so's ya kin shoot it a lot

Suffice to say, the profile was dubbed "The Evil Twin" at the inception.

And, it'll be havin' a twin......

Roy ain't made a blade yet that I don't want.

That, plus a profile in the hopper, oughta do anything that needs doin', though the standard Boondocker, the WGM, the "sweet lil' skinner", the "Sassy caper"..... none suck, to be sure.

The dude does amazing work, and having the privilege to work up a profile or two, whilst sippin' branch water, is one that I enjoy.

Calling him and his clan friends, damned near family, is an honor.

Must be your settings as the original pics ET posted show up just fine on my systems. Yuo guys might look at your page zoom setting. FWIW I am using IE 8.
