I am looking to restock my rem. 700 with a tupperware stock i perfer classic style with now raised cheak piece i'm also on a limited budget so would like to keep it under 200 dollars am I dreamin or can I get a lite weight stock for under 200 bones? thank you for your help. JB

My favorite is the Brown Precision, but you're going to be hard pressed to find one for under $200.

Maybe keep an eye out for someone selling a used Ti stock?

Brownells has the High Tech Specialties stocks for about $200 if you have an account with them. They will need lots of work to inlet and fit to your rifle plus painting and a recoil pad but if you can do this yourself you will end up with a good light weight stock for not too much over your budget.

Great stock for the money and it requires little to no work. It is a drop in.

i used a high tech. stock and it required no fitting. needs glass bedding. some sanding and filling and paint and pad.
