I just finished trueing up a 700 SA, completely did the bolt with Sako extractor and recut lugs, Action threads recut along with the locking lugs in the receiver and the face.
Just so you are aware, I will not do a trueing using the original barrel due to the action threads being recut and oversize for the original barrel. The trigger will also be done, the chamber will be 6x47 Lapua, Krieger 8 twist barrel.

Send it back, and wait for them to do it!!!!
Or, send it back and don't wait, get a complete refund, and buy a Ruger 77, a Savage, a Marlin, a Tika, a Mauser 98, a Husqvarna, a Sako, .....

age, a Marlin, a Tika, a Mauser 98, a Husqvarna, a Sako, ..... Did you read what he asked? Remington will not do a trigger job..... I suspect you dislike Remington and have nothing to post to help the OP. To the post: Are you having issues with the gun, or just have play money and want to improve an OK gun? I suspect most gunsmiths will do what you asked w/o much fuss, more important to me is to select a local Gunsmith so you can talk face to face. If you don't know any in your area, seek out benchrest shooters at our local range, they should be able to guide you... Allen

Know anyone specializing in Rem M700 Sendero? Need general accurizing job done ... square bolt face, lighten trigger ... etc. Square the bolt face will require the barrel to be removed and usually the receiver is faced off as well if needed. Most smiths want a new barrel put on it and the threads on the receiver will have to be recut as well to match those of the new barrel. Hill country rifles only laps the lugs if it doesn't increase the Headspace beyond what it should be.

A good crown might not be a bad idea if yours is not up to par.
Now with even more aplomb
