The Kerry people, the DNC, and the AFL/CIO are spending big coin trying to sell Kerry as someone who "will look out for gun owners rights". Or at least that is what they are doing in my "Battleground State"

I've got to ask; are ANY of you falling for it? I mean even for one second. Has the thought of "well gee maybe..." even crossed ANY of your minds just once?

If it has, we as a Nation are in dire trouble.

John Kerry has done very little in his 20 years in the Senate. His attendance record is among the worst recorded. However, when he does show up he votes anti gun. His record proves this. In fact if there is one single issue Kerry has showed ANY extra effort to show up for, it has been to cast anti gun votes.

That makes him two things Anti Constitutional AND a Liar. [at the very least]

Now these three organizations mentioned above would not be spending the money they are at gun owners if they didn't think they'ld get a return on their investment. And they are still spending money, so logic dictates they are succeeding.

Since we have been dummed down to a Nation of ignorant sheep, it is time for us all who wish to save whats left of a once fine Nation to do our duty. As SHEPHERDS! Talk. Talk to ANYONE that will listen. Employees, Employers, Union Brothers and Sisters, Freinds, Neighbors, and Relatives.

The time to take it to the trenches is NOW.

John Kerry is the enemy.

I do not care who you vote for as long as you do not vote for Kerry.

America is (supposed to be) a Republic, NOT a democracy. Learn the difference, help end the lie. Fear a government that fears your guns.

Rick, don't even think about doing it now because we know you're too busy. But, some time in the future, a rating system such as "Yahoo's" "recommended" feature might work for this kind of post. We all just want to say "yes", but have to go through too much of a process.

Especialy after a couple hours in the local pub.

I know a retired teacher that is a life long hunter. He is also a liberal, and will vote for Kerry. Last weekend when I told him that Kerry has voted to ban semi-automatic shotguns like the 11-87, he said he did'nt know that. Maybe he will reconsider. So, yes, there are naive voting gun owners.

Come on, I saw on CNN just today he (Kerry) was goose hunting this week!

Let me answer your question in the most polite way that I can. If I were duck hunting and came upon Mr. Kerry in the next blind and then noticed he was on fire because his coleman lantern had accidentally turned over on him-I wouldn't urinate on him to put the fire out

The goose hunting was a photo-op in Ohio. An hour or two. Probably tame goose planted. He never went goose hunting in the past when he wasn't trying to convince us.

His autobiography mentions trips to France, his yacht, but never a word about hunting or shooting.

In an Outdoor Life interview in October he said his favorite personal gun was Chinese assault rifle. When CCRKBA pointed out (a) he had recently voted to ban them and (b) they were illegal in Mass. or DC, he said it was really a 100-year old Russian rifle, not a Chinese assault rifle.

Yeah, right.

the problem is not those who read these posts, but the large numbers of casual hunters and fishermen who read "Field and Stream" or nothing at all.

Don't blame me. I voted for Trump.

Camouflaged Kerry Denies Deceiving Dead Goose
by Scott Ott
(2004-10-21) -- John Forbes Kerry today denied allegations of deception after his morning goose hunt on an Ohio farm.

Reporters peppered the Democrat presidential candidate with questions after learning that Mr. Kerry apparently disguised himself as swamp grass in order to accomplish his goal.

"I have nothing to hide: I'm a hunter," Mr. Kerry said. "This here shotgun clearly indicates that. My $140 Ohio hunting license documents it. It's the goose that's dead wrong."

Mr. Kerry, a professional Vietnam veteran, distinguished war protestor and "regular guy" who is also a U.S. Senator, later stopped at Wal-Mart to pick up some more shotgun shells and a box of Tide laundry detergent for his wife, Teresa.

rdinak, I have a question. If you were goose hunting and you saw Kerry fall into the water and begin to drown, which would you prefer, an over and under or a side by side?

Have a go at your fantasies with the new war game called "Silver Star" based on Kerry's Swift exploits in Vietnam. Just thinking of the possible scenarios one could put Kerry in is entertaining, but I seriously doubt if allows for the kind of maligned play many would attempt. (I wonder if "cheat codes" are included?) Here's a link to the game, check out the rolled up sleeves and the "Rambo" muscles.

We survived Clinton pretty much intact even though he got reelected. Before both elections that he won I heard the same end of gun ownership as we know it predictions I'm hearing now.

The reality is that not much will change even if he does win. I'm not voting for him but I'm not about to go for the "sky is falling" either.

I'm a retired teacher and a life long hunter. I still want Bush out of office; in spite of Kerry's record I do hope he wins.

I've never voted in my life but there is little doubt that I will this time; at least for Kerry. Well, not so much for Kerry as against Bush.

There's one good thing to come out of all this posturing. The fact a presidential candidate is making an attempt to look like a hunter shows that there are still enough of us out there to make a difference. You sure don't see anyone trying to draw all 15 votes that PETA has do you?

Just kidding about Kerry goose hunting, I was playing devil's advocate. I just wish G.W. was a democrat, 'cause at least he shoots strait and ACCEPTS RESPONSIBILITY, which Kerry will OBVIOUSLY never do. I guess I'll have to keep voting Republican. Good point.

Maybe we as hunters/shooters should start to USE some of that clout. The NRA is nice and all but IMHO we could be doing a lot more. I am thinking that there is too much dissention - if these idjits would stop taking a-holes like Kerry duck hunting and trap shooting - stood together on this issue. Kerry and his ilk can not gat ANY run at all - we would have some pull in D.C.

SteelyEyes- The issue is often not what the President can do during his term, but the legacy he leaves in the Supreme Court. The Justices are getting old and in the next four years we are likely to see three Justices appointed. The Court is basically split 4-4-1, with O'Conner as a swing vote. We could easily end up with a 6-3 very left wing Court if Kerry wins. If that Court, in 15 years(long after Kerry is gone) decides that the 2nd Amendment means that only the Government has the RKBA, then that is what it means until you either amend the Constitution or get a new Court that is willing to overturn. Make no mistake that Kerry will appoint Judges that are FAR LEFT.

John Kerry is nowhere near as dangerous as the Court he would create. Think about it.

How far left of a guy do you think will get past the confirmation process? Government has checks and balances and in a lot of cases they work just fine. People complain about how slow and inefficient things are but I for one am glad we don't get half the government we pay for and everything they do is at the speed of molasses on the North Pole.
