Can't belive nobody has posted on this yet. Sounds like total BS to me. This idiot is trying to make gun owners and hunters belive HE is on our side! With his anti-gun voting record this is hard to swallow. Virgil B.

It's an absolute insult. He believes that we are so completely stupid, that we think he's an outdoorsman and shooter because of one morning of photo-op goose hunting. What an complete POS.

Yepper, just a regular Joe. With a nice new set of camo, musta been an early Christmas gift...
Look at the bright side, he probably just shot the PETA vote all to heck

...and who is, "Bob Bellino, a board member for the local Ducks Unlimited;" that joined him? Why does such a fine organization like DU give legitimacy to such BS? Apparently DU isn't paying attention.

DU has its Sierra Club type moments. The guy is probably just some lib local. But I wouldn't doubt a conservation club screwing there patrons, just to look politically correct.

How many of us are "local board members" of this organization or that. I know there are a bunch of us right here. Don't forget your neighbor that "hunts", that thinks more gun control is just fine.

No wonder why I don't support DU. They do stupid [bleep] like this. I doubt Kerry shot "his morning goose". A classic douche bag.

I've been wondering all day if he used his double barrel shotgun and crawled around on his belly decoying them, same as his deer hunting techniques?

I think he is going for the bag limit. He has one old bag at home, He just wanted one he could actually mount!
I suppose Teresa now may just come out with some stupid statement like "whats good for the goose is good for the gander"
Also notice that there were thousands of camera's for this obviously staged event. Yet I have not seen a single photo of him actually shooting this bird nor was he carrying his own kill. Since in Vietnam he has only proven that he could kill wounded enemy or be wonded by his own improperly discharged weapon, I have to wonder if he even shot his gun or killed a bird.
This was a classic photo op reminicent of Dukakis driving the tank with that stupid helmet on when obviously anti-military record. Kerry has proven anti-gun record throughout his "career" in the Senate yet did this hunting gig. I think it was appropriate that he was wearing camoflauge since he has been trying to camoflauge his record for the entire campaign.

What i'm getting off the talk shows is that the reporters were kept out of sight at a distance, that there were several "hunters" in the blind, but no one actually saw who shot, or a bird fall. An aide carried "his" goose away.
Think he learned from Clinton's duck, that so PO'ed the PETAphiles?
This wasn't meant to change the choir's mind (on either side). It was meant to influence the mindless 6% still trying to get their ears out of the sphinctered oriface.
The only true cost of having a dog is its death.

In the CBS report I heard, it mentioned he was using a Mossberg...(insert model)...rifle! It also went on to say he was taking his dog along to see if he could kick up a goose. The reporter obviously doesn't know much, I wonder who in the Kerry orginization came up with the press release. Pretty sad, dvnv

Turns out he borrowed his "camo" jacket, shotgun and ammo. The rich _itch wouldn't even let him spring for the gear. Nice photo-op scum bag.

Camouflaged Kerry Denies Deceiving Dead Goose by Scott Ott (2004-10-21) -- John Forbes Kerry today denied allegations of deception after his morning goose hunt on an Ohio farm.
Reporters peppered the Democrat presidential candidate with questions after learning that Mr. Kerry apparently disguised himself as swamp grass in order to accomplish his goal.
"I have nothing to hide: I'm a hunter," Mr. Kerry said. "This here shotgun clearly indicates that. My $140 Ohio hunting license documents it. It's the goose that's dead wrong."
Mr. Kerry, a professional Vietnam veteran, distinguished war protestor and "regular guy" who is also a U.S. Senator, later stopped at Wal-Mart to pick up some more shotgun shells and a box of Tide laundry detergent for his wife, Teresa.
