I see there is a Marlin 336 lever forum. I would think a Winchester collector forum would be as busy as that. How about a Colt-Winchester collector forum?

Happy New Year. So far you have not thought of any real benefit to us or the board. You used adjectives thats all. Either way I don't care. I would rather not have to search through another section but its ok. Instead lets have an Aydt Collectors Forum. Now this would have real benefits. It would educate others as to what the Aydt firearms are and how they are used.

I would like to see a Winchester specific forum myself; one would be enough to address all Winchesters. A couple of the Marlin Forums could be consolidated to save space.

Steve Good, lets have a Winchester forum and a LEFT HAND forum. Doc

What would you call a Winchester forum ? Since REms are " sucks " , maybe call it " blows " ?

Rem - Sucks Win - Blows Ruger - Bites
Been that way since I been here. I stand pat on my request for a bear forum with the Winchester sub forum.

How about a forum for Browning A-Bolts? I've noticed they always get alot of attention here.

Pat85: You are exactly correct there! The Winchester name, reputation, interest in and the variety of quality Rifles they have produced for such a long time mandates a seperate and dedicated spot for us 24hourcampfire types to go and inquire and share at! For instance museums and gunshows and gunshops always prominently display the Winchesters therein! I would dare say that more serious gun collectors deal in Winchesters of one type or another than any other BRAND of firearms in the world! PLEASE add the Winchester section to our site. Thank all of you serious posters for your input - you smarty pant's types go somewhere else for a while please. Winchester forever! Hold into the wind VarmintGuy

Pre, or post-'64? Models 1866 1873 1876 1886 1892 1894 1895 53 55 64 65 71s Bolt actions 43 52 54 56 75 70s The list goes on and on, plus shotguns 12,21 ect. I think a winchester fourm would get a few more hits than a marlin 336 forum.

Pat85, With your handle, how could you leave out the 1885? Or do you only count repeaters? I guess the 1885s are covered under Single Shots and BPCR. Paul

Paul Like I said, the list goes on and on. actually the Winchesters that intrest me are the 64s 71s 52s and 75s. I find it insulting that a masterpiece, the Winchester model 52 should be clumped in with other rimfires

VarmintGuy yada yada yada yada OK but then we need a Sako Forum, a Tikka Forum (for Steelhead), a dedicated S&W forum, a Ruger forum, and the list goes on...... However, I can think of a few forums that could be eliminated or combined...

52s seem to have a huge following. Looks like Browning/Winchester tapped into that demand with the replicas.
Kudos to them.
I'm not into them myself, but it looks like they made the replicas pretty faithful to the originals. If I weren't a lefty, it might be a different story.

Browning copied the model 71 also. Its sad, when a rifle like Winchester, so famous that other companys made exact replicas of their rifles, they don't have their own forum. LOL
