I have a 10 year old son who I'm taking this next season for his first hunt, can't wait! I'm surprising him this week with his very first rifle that will be his alone and tailored to him. And, hopefully, there will be many more to come! Grizzly Bill - thanks for the compliment on the paint job, I figured I didn't have anything to lose by trying, ha. It did turn out pretty good for a beginner. For those interested, I am posting another thread on the performance of the 60 gr partition in this forum with pics. It will be up in a sec. My neighbor's 10yr old named Cole stopped by with his first deer, a huge 8point. My 11yr old granddaughter did not score yet, but we have through Sun for a doe. Great pic and a moment that he will never forget. Congrats. Life is good. Time spent hunting/fishing with youngsters is better than time spent looking for them.
