Kimber7man, "P" tires are rated for passenger cars, and "LT" tires are rated for light trucks. It basically means that the tires is more robustly constructed for carrying more weight under more demanding conditions. They usually have thicker sidewalls and more internal belts.
As for tires, I've been very impressed with the LTX-MS for highway use and light off-pavement (no mud or deep sand). For a good, all around tire that behaves on the highway and goes everywhere offraod, the BFG AT has always worked well for me. The only downside I've found with them is that they gum up in deep mud.

I've got BFG ATs on both my jeeps

If you like the BFG's, you'll really love the Revo 2's......

LTX serves me well, that's why I always run them after my factory tires wear out. I just automatically go with the LTX.

This has been my experience as well. I'm at or near 85,000+ miles on mine, and this thread reminds me I need to rotate, which I do typically @ every 5000 miles.

I ordered a set of Dueler Revo2's for the Sequoia yesterday. Talked to my bud at work who has a 1500 4x4 stepside and he said he's had three sets on his last two trucks and gets 80,000 miles out of them...

Truth be told, I could care less if mine only lasted 35k, they ride and perform so well compared with everything else I've tried......

There you go. That's why we buy tires...to do what we want them to.

I saw a movie where only the military and the police had guns. It was called Schindler's List.

$700 out the door for a set of 4 Revo2's from Firestone - got a 25% off coupon off the back of a Kroger receipt which saved me $200. Man, they look and ride great! Have always gone with the blackwall tires on the Sequoia, but went with the OWL this time. Pretty sweet.
Did I mention I made the last payment on the truck last month???

IIRC, that is what I paid for my last set too. $700.

Camp is where you make it.
