Is Warne the only manufacturer of quick release rings for the Ruger? Any one have experience with these?

It's a good set of rings but don't expect anything mounted on a Ruger to return to zero.

I haven't used the Warnes but I have tig welded some levers on factory Ruger ring nuts with good results. I welded them so that they will index parallel to the action to give me repeatable torque values. I have several sets of Ruger rings in use and all of them routinely come to within 1/2" of original zero. The factory rings are fast enough to remove with a coin though if you don't find any QR rings.

I have some similar set ups that return close enough to zero for DGR work, as long as the positioning of the levers is repeatable.

Just saying I have 3 sets of Ruger factory rings with levers - 2 on Hawkeyes, 375 & 404 Ruger - and 1 on an RSM 458 Lott, and they seem to work for me. Obviously YMMV. These are the Hawkeyes African 404 (top) Alaskan 375 (below) The RSM is a little different arrangement. If I dig up a pic in the next few days I'll post it.

I had Warnes on my 416 T on a tang safety Ruger. I took it on and off a lot. I didn't see any change in POI. Maybe with a small bore varmint rifle you might see some change. I've had my regular Ruger rings on and off a good bit on my standard caliber rifles and have seen no change. I have the EAW system on one rifle and it also returns to zero, as do my rifles with European claws. I have a Leupold QR as well, on a 375. Only been on and off a few times, but still holds same POI so far.

Got a heavy nightforce 2.5-10x in a set of warne maximas, firing a 400gn TSX@ 2600fps. They work great, very stout, and repeatable.

I've used a set of warne quick detach's on my 458 lott RSM for 2 safari's and a few hundred full house practice rounds and I think they are great. As far as I can tell they return to zero very well. (as far as I can tell shooting 500grains @ 2300fps anyways ) I would heartily recommend them as the best 40 dollar rings I have ever bought
