Hi, me and three shooting buddys are looking to travel from the UK to the USA to try a spot of Coyote hunting. What we need is help choosing a good location and some contact names of outfitters etc. In fact feel free to contact me with your thoughts and any info that would help us, many thanks, Jezzer.

You would be very hard pressed to find a better fit than this guide/outfitter for coyotes. http://www.predatoruniversity.com/Tony Tebbe is the the owner/guide. He knows what he is doing. I've had two good friends hunt with him in the last year and both came away very pleased with their hunt. Tony will do everything in his power to ensure you all have a very successful hunt. Plus you'll learn a lot and see lots of coyotes and possibly a bobcat or a grey fox or two.
Is it Friday yet?

We have been checking flights from the UK and Arizona looks a good bet. So we will look at renting a car and drive, maybe up to a few hundred miles..... any ideas?
Jerry.

I live in New Mexico(southeast), lots of public land to hunt. I have taken 19 coyotes in the past 3 weekends here, they are not hunter educated like many places around the country. You could fly into Albuquerque (center of the state) rent a vehicle and hunt your way around NM with great results all on public land. Get yourself a predator calling CD watch it, make the sounds they make, utilize cover as they do and have FUN!!!
keep doing what your doing and you will keep getting what your getting...

There is a lot of public land in Oregon as well and the coyote hunting can be very good. Most of the central and eastern part of the state has as much public access as anywhere and can be very inexpensive to hunt. You can feel free to contact me if you like for more info.

Does Oregon require out-of-state coyote hunters to buy a license?
The Mayans had it right. If youre going to predict the future, its best to aim far beyond your life expectancy, lest you wind up red-faced in a bunker overstocked with Spam and ammo.

That looks more like a cougar than a coyote.
