brand new rifle, obviously. 325 wsm. Been out shooting it. Shows great promise, but I can't get the trigger pull back to three lbs. My son and I both played with it, and he really noticed the pull weight at the the range. Manual says that with the screw backed out it will be at three pounds. Not even close. Took it today to the shop where I bought it and had them put the pull gauge on it. Anywhere from 4.2 to 4.7 pounds. Nuts. I hate the thought of sending this back for service. I will be on the phone with them tomorrow.

No issues with mine. Adjusted it to a hair over 3lbs with no problem.

Maybe they slipped in the wrong weight spring. I would take it to an authorized gunsmith to get it straightened out. I don't think they go below 3 lbs.

After monkeying around with it this afternoon, I agree that it is likely the wrong weight spring. Darn!

I think if you want to go to the lowest setting you have to take the screw right off.I did that on my 2 mod 70 and the pull weight seem pretty good,I would say 3-3.5 lbs.

The screw is in my shooting box. Still at 4.2 to 4.7 lbs. Nuts. This rifle is going to the service department.
