they were made by Remington, Winchester and Eddystone.....for a custom rifle the first two are what yah want.....for a shooter in original configuration(or atleast kept the original barrel) an Eddystone is fine with the other two bringing more money and the Winchesters generally considered the most accurate of the three.....only problem with Eddystones are when you go to remove the original barrel, they were screwed on EXTREMELY tight and quite often the receiver gets cracked trying to unscrew it.....but if yah leave the original barrel on its not an issue

Beer was legal at 18 when I was in college so bar time recollections are kinda hazy. Good, but hazy. Don't recall anything about light bulbs but can't rule it out either. wink
