Good on you ND...nobody expects anything out of their kids these days..

And lo and behold...they live up to those expectations...

Ultimately, you will all be better for it...

I heard that a major symptom of the gay is not wanting to work on old cars... Streisand music and curtains in the shop are sure to follow...

A good friend of mine & I were discussing some of the challenges with raising teenage girls today.

It was actually a serious conversation if you can believe I'm capable of such a thing. grin

Topic was on the "victim game" that many of these girls will play to get what they want.

They want to go to basketball games (that's where weezy is right now), football games, hockey games, sleepovers at their friends house, run here, run there, do this, do that, social butterflies just having a great time.

And that's all great if they have their responsibilities covered.

But when grades are in the toilet and they have none of their own gas money, they have homework to do... well then "no" is the answer we need to give.

And they'll try playing the victim to get their way... "but mom, everybody else will be there, my friends will hate me if I can't go..." blah, blah so on so forth & much, much worse.

Well, that's exactly where life long deadbeat leaches on society are created. All you need to do is enable them & congrats, you've created a future deadbeat welfare case that's a professional victim of life & their livelihood comes from milking the system. And they vote.

Guess who they vote for?

The one that promises to take care of them.

Which just happens to be the jerkwad azzhole that needs to prey on that "free vote". He needs those dependant victims of society, without them him & his democratic party could not exist.

So they enable & maintain the victims of society, like a garden.

Ok I might have drifted off a little there but yeah, that's how strongly I believe in doing our best to build responsible independent young people.

Gotta use surgical strikes, not nuke them, IMO.

She's making progress, a small gesture of trust in return.

It's building in the right direction.

I'm not ready to bust out the grand prize just yet.

Now stop making me answer serious questions, it's Friday night.

I know Derby.

I do believe the manipulation & victim game can take off like wildfire & take root with girls stronger than with most boys though.

But yeah, for sure you see the same thing with boys.
