If you reload and can't get to .75 moa with a Wilson tube in an RRA gun it would be the first I"ve ever seen that wouldn't do it. I have seen 2 that needed to be recrowned.. at one point it seems like their "crowning" person used a 3/8 drill bit... but I have not seen that issue in a number of years. Thats .75 moa at 100 yards. There is a difference at longer ranges. Whether you need more or not is up to you.
Well, I'm happy that Jeff agrees with me, I hate to have people disagree with me. As long as you heed the caveat Jeff mentioned, you should be good to go.

16 is handy cause slung down, it doesn't touch the snow while I'm snowmobiling, and slung up it doesn't get stuck in the branches.
But I am perhaps a touch more active than most.

We don't do much snowmobiling in Texas. Then again now that we are in a cooling trend, maybe I should look into one for the coming ice age.

Sorry to hear that. Did the coffee shoot out of your nose and ears? That's really painful when it's hot, and when you have creamer in there it really gums up the ears.

I decided to get a Predator Pursuit myself a while back. I have been very pleased with it over all. It's not as heavy as a bull barrel, the 20" is about right for my uses (deer, hog, coyote hunting) and it is a very accurate rifle. I do a lot of stalking and moving around, and with a good sling, the weight is no problem. I don't hang a lot of stuff on my rifle, only a Loopy scope. I have a M$ style rifle for home defense, and it only has a flashlight and holo sight on it with the 16"barrel. Also have a 16" S&W AR15R chambered in 5.45X39 that I plink with. The ammo is very cheap, but corrosive. It has the chromed barrel and I have really enjoyed it thus far.
You can't go wrong with the RRA PP.
