Envious! Can't get on the ice reliably here without a sled with our three feet of early snow. A guy could sit on a trail with everyone else and catch bottle bass I guess. A mess of perch (and the eggs, you save them, right?) would taste great right now but I'd settle for playing with the hammer handles.

Thats a couple of right nice fish fry's ya caught there Dave. Congrats! The fishing here on Saginaw Bay has been an adventure. The ice has blown out 3 times and now we are in a thaw. One drowned Friday after going thru and a bunch went thru today. I envy that 2 ft of ice you have...:)

Ingwe At the Lakeland gun show yesterday and there was what I recall as a 1903 Springfield with a very peculiar military optical sight onboard, offset a little left of centerline. Obvious sniper rifle. Sight resembled more of a small box than anything else and had a rubber eyepiece.
