I've had both stored in my vehicle. I also have one of the Chris Reeve hollow handled knives with stuff stored in the handle that would be my first choice. But the K-Bar and Mora have got to be the better choices where possible theft is an issue......................DJ

A K-Bar is hard to beat and the Glock field knife ain't too shabby either.

My K-Bar and I have been all the way around the world.

have an old K-bar with the leather washer handle and a new one with the composite handle, but I also have three of these stashed in vehicles, bugout bags, etc: have a kershaw folder and Swiss army knife for fine work...this big cold steel bush ranger is for heavy stuff, and also not a bad camp knife. I don't really plan on fighting anybody with a knife as long as I have a functional firearm, but it would do for that, too.

I like the Cold Steel Master Tanto. I think there's one in here someplace:

The best I've seen is a Spanish army knife. I always keep one close by. Correction, it's no longer listed that way. Google Aitor Knives and look for the Cuchillo De Monte

Here it is, note the parkarised (sp?) parts missing were blown off fixing a 5ton truck battery. I managed to make a circuit. It is razor sharp. How i roll.

For bloodletting, a USMC K-Bar is tough to beat.
For doing lots of neat schitt in a survival situation, an Original Leatherman.

I hope the little hippie POS that stole my damned Ka-Bar at least appreciated what it is/was.

Shane, I see you have one of the originals. Don't see many of those old Gerbers around. I use a Cold Steel Recon Tanto and now I have my Wildswalker knife.

Very nice find. Saw several in Vietnam, but I used a Puma bowie over there.Lots more need for a working tool than a killing knife.
