"I don't need anything but good open sights to hit a clay pigeon all day long offhand at 150 yards."

From "Enema at the Gates", LeOldEnema

This is from the opening scene, when Joe Stalin hires Lee to train the Tovarishes over in that Stalingrad burg.

That whole thing's finally been de-classified

BTW; Did you say you invented it??? grin

You talking about the Lee24 OS or the analytical program recently employed on same? Of course! laugh On both counts. How could you question that? confused

I am notorious for playing with my food. grin

This discussion, as philosophically elevated as it is, reminds me of a recent tragedy in my front yard. There is a pasture across the street upon which many killdeer flit around, bringing forth the call from which their name springs. Rather noisy sometimes, occasionally annoying. Yesterday morning I went out to get the paper and found the remains of one, fresh blood mixed with feathers and bits of rendered flesh remaining on the nubs of wing bones. Front yard was littered with feathers in all quadrants. I suspect a raptor had breakfast in the dawn's early light...Oh say can you see???....the parallel?

I cried when I wrote it.

Or maybe that's when I wrote Deacon Blues for Steely Dan.
