meet a guide in south Colorado (unsure of the exact area) that guides on alafaya(sp) fields. Please help. we meet him on our way home and have yet to find him since then.

Why would you want to hunt elk on alfalfa? You're missing out on part of the fun by doing so. But that's my opinion. Try here if that's what you really want: www.coloradooutfitters.org/

That is about like asking someone if they know of someone who caught a fish in water.There is big hay country all over CO, Yampa Valey,South Park,Norh Park. San Lius Valley.Lots a elk sneak in to alfalfa fields to eat at night and then return to cover in the day. They like potatoe fields also.
