I'd like help with purchasing a new trigger for my AR-15 Rock River.
I want to buy once and get everything that I want/need the first time. I'm not as concerned about cost, I'm about function/quality.
What experience can you pass on to me to help me with my purchase??
Thanks in advance for the information.

For what purpose is the rifle intended? Varmint, hunting, target, 3 gun games, plinking? Do you prefer single stage or two stage? Lots of options from which to choose, but we need more information.

I prefer a two stage, and after much experimentation, have settled on Geissele.

Purchased a Timney 3 pound skeletonized trigger for my DPMS 223. Very nice trigger for the 200.00 spent. Want a second one for my Stag 6.8. Took all of 10 minutes to install.

+1 on the Timney drop-in AR-15 trigger. I am very happy with mine. It took about 20 minutes to install.

The Timney will work well for your varmint rifle. That's the reason that I changed mine. The DPMS factory trigger was a crunch, crunch , crunch bang piece of crap.

Beg to differ with you!. The Pact AR GOld is better in some regards. It is in a cassette so that no wear in the gun affects the trigger pull. The reset is quick, the takeup is so light and the pull is pure glass. Don't get me wrong, your pick is a great trigger, just not the best!

My 2 cents adjusted for inflation!

You might check with Bill Springfeild, he cleans up the factory trigger for $50, 3 lbs. IIRC. He has a site, just don't know how to post it here.

I have a used Jewell for the AR. It is a 2 stage and is fully adjustable. I put it in a friend of mine's gun and he shot it less than 100 rounds. Worked great he just sold the gun. I got the trigger and don't need it. I will take 155.00 shipped US Mail inside the US. Thanks Ronny
