Is the current .375 Alaskan coating the same as the the original Ion bond or whatver it was? Are the rings coated with the same stuff?

Yes! My 375 Ruger Alaskan (matte) has the ion coating or bond. But my scope rings which were included (at the time I bought it) are not!
