Ya got that right Bill....lol

Dave...he wasn't running with the scissors while cutting was he?

Tom kudos to you for resisting the salmon disease. I'm almost ashamed of what I've spent thru the years on gear (fingers crossed behind my back). I tell everyone that asks "take 5 charters a year and 10 yrs later you will still be money ahead".

Ya got that right Scott. I'll be headed out to Portland in April to get in on the springer run (Silvers). My son says there's going to be a good run this year. Limit was increased to 2 fish a day. Might even get a chance to try for Sturgeon again.

'Bout 8 years ago my barber was feeling frisky one day and offered me a free haircut if I would let him "buzz" cut it.I did and it felt good. Then I figured out that he was going to want $12 every time he buzzed it.I went to WalMart and bought a set of electric clippers.I came home and informed the amazing Mz. Linda that she was my new barber. She likes doing it and every ten days or so I go out in the garage and sit on a low stool and she cuts it all to 1/4".

I did that when I was in school and my girlfriend, who is now Mrs. Tzone, hated it. So I don't do it anymore, but I keep it pretty high and tight.

Messing with my hair before work is not something I want to spend more then about 10 seconds on. smile

Back in the late 40's early 50's home haircuts were the rule for boys at least. No electric clippers for us, my folks used the manual ones.

My wife used to be a hair dresser and she still cuts all of our hair. Our youngest boy would NOT sit still during a haircut for nothing. He would wiggle and scream and cry every time she would try to cut his hair. Causing her to mess up etc. Finally one day she told him "if you don't sit still, I'm gonna put you in a head lock and shave you bald!"

He didn't sit still...

He was bald.

(Or as close to bald as you can get with an electric clipper)

Funny, now when its time for a trim, you'd swear that kid is a statue!

grin

Heat from the cylinder meltdown must have taken out the coil/magneto or everything is just old and brittle. I can kind of relate to the latter. smile

Update on my war with the sno jet.

the sno jet sports a freshly welded & reshaped piston & I'm here to tell ya, she's a runner!

and the skag modification I did is great, you can actually steer the thing!!
