This is my favorite reticle. When your target gets in that circle, it's as good as hit!!!!

I have the #9 and it is now my favorite reticle. I was a little unsure before I purchased it but now I'd like to have it more of my scopes. Good Luck.

Should work well in lo lite. The thick horizontal and lower half of the vertical x-wires should do very well. It may be the best lo lite reticle S&B makes???

This is an unusual reticle to most of us here on this side of the pond but I have found it to be very good, both in the regular and lighted versions. Most of the folks that have looked at mine have not liked it until I let them use it and then they seem to see that it is a very useful and usable reticle for many hunting situations. Several friends have purchased a S&B with the #9 after using one of mine in the field.

The #9 reticle maybe a bit of an individual thing ........ I hunted with a S&B 6x42 w/ #9 reticle and while the glass is superior for low light, I didn't care for the #9 reticle. In fact, I had a hard time with it on quick shots even in good light.
I did have the opportunity to shoot 16 deer and a number of hogs with it. My eyes just seem to like the duplex-style reticle much better. Probably just my crossed-eyed self! ( o Y o ) !!!!!
Purely my opinion and others obviously like it here. Spend some time looking through a S&B with the #9 and see what you think first - it is a decision that shouldn't be rushed into.
