Fellows,
Do any of you have any link to the proceedure for disassembling the bolt on a 77/22? I have disassembled plenty of 77 bolts but the rimfire is a little differnt. This one is in need of cleaning bad, It belongs to a cousin of mine that is a hog hunter and it got thrown or dropped in the mud.
Or if someone could explain it to me, I could probably understand.

Cal74, believe it or not its in the ruger manual on page 20 or 21.
you can download it off the ruger site if you dont have on available.
I had a case of crainium anal interlock or I would have looked there in the first place. Its simple to do.
Oh yea if you give your email address I can send you a pdf file of the manual if that is easier.
