OP taurus Campfire Member T Joined: Feb 2001 Posts: 282 Girard,Ill usa	The 1895 ss is a 22 inch barrel in blue. Does anyone know when this will be available in stainless? I prefer blue but everyone has me convinced to get stainless! I think the 22 inch barrel will be just as handy as the shorter barrel.

levergunz Campfire Member L Joined: Jan 2001 Posts: 126 Due North of Liberals.USA	Taurus,The stainless guidegun in 45-70 won't be available until at least April.Marlin hasn't announced any plans for a 1895ss(22")<BR>version yet,but i would geuss within a year or so if the stainless guidegun sells well,which i think it will.Get what you want,not what others want you to have.If you like the stainless and/or need a stainless because of wet climate hold out a little longer.I'm sure the stainless will sell very fast and they will be hard to find for quite awhile.~~~~~~~tom
