Good topic
At present, I have two lever actions:
1) A Marlin 1894 in 44 Mag. Bought it when I was in high school with one December's muskrat trapping proceeds. Had to have one because a friend's dad had one that I loved to shoot. I still take it out on occasion for a round of just plain plinking.
2) A Marlin 336 SC in 32 Special. I inherited this one from an uncle that was like a grandfather to me. It may well be the one gun that I would keep if I could have only one - a lot of sentimental value. I have refinished the stock and repaired a small crack, and am in the process of rebluing it. Should have it done in the next couple of weeks if the stream of customer rebluing slows down.
3) Don't have this one yet, but will be getting a Marlin 1895 Guide Gun in 45-70 any day now. Just waiting for some accounts receiveable to come in! [Linked Image]
That's it for my own or nearly own list. How about ones that you would like to own? My list includes: a pre-64 Winchester 94 in 30-30, a Winchester in 375 Winchester, a Marlin 336 in 35 Remington, and a Marlin in 444 Marlin. Good thing I have a wish list, otherwise I would have no reason to go to the gun shows and browse the auction sites!
------------------
Stush

I love lever guns myself - both Winchesters and Marlins.
In the Winchester brand I have a M9422 in .22LR - HS Grad gift from my folks in 1973. My newest Winchester is a M92 (modern version/limited edition) in .45 Colt - I swapped an old Model 97 shotgun to a friend for this one. My carbine is a pre-64 M94 in .30/30 - made in 1953. I have an original "Big-Bore 94" in .375 WIN, it's the pre-angle eject early version, made by WRA not USRAC. My favorite levergun is an original M71 (made in 1951) in .348 WCF (what else?) - it is a real thunderstick!
My Marlin collection is smaller (right now!) I have a M1895 LTD IV in 45/70 (One of One Thousand) - I bought this just to own a Marlin - liked it so much I bought my next one the following week. It's my CAS levergun, an M1894 Cowboy II in .357 Mag. These Marlin M1894's have to be the slickest leverguns going.
Fun topic, Odessa

I have a Marlin in .219 Zipper for groundhogs, two in 30-30 (one for my wife and one for a spare), one in .35 Rem (my first hunting rifle) and one in .375 Win (couldn't let my brother trade it off). Since I moved from West Virginia to New Mexico where the "deer" are a little bigger, I'm prospecting for a heavy hitter. I'm looking at a custom job in .475 GNR or maybe the .416 Beartooth ....decisions, decisions! :-)

I recently sold my marlin 45-70. Why? 1) to create more money to buy a stainless Model 92 45LC. 2) stainless Guide Gun being offered by Marlin.
as mentioned the only levergun I'll be owning so far will be the above mentioned M92. It hasn't come in yet, but hopefully monday. ~~~Suluuq

I only have 2 right now.
One is a marlin 30AS in 30/30, I just picked up for the wife. She wanted her own hunting gun, she also wanted it to be a levergun. fits her perfectly for what she wants to hunt.
I have the 1895ss that is slightly tweaked. I love the 45/70 plain and simple.

DakotaLawDog: Right now, I just have the one 1895M 450 Marlin. Fixed up as a Scout, or Guide Gun. But my next will also be a Marlin, hopefully in stainless steel with a 26" barrel. Either 45/70, or also in the 450 Marlin. It would be nice to have both shoot the same factory ammo. But I like the aspects of having a 45/70. Just haven't made up my mind on that yet. Either will most likely require a re-barrel job.
Phil

Had three, got one left.
I traded my Ithaca .22 repeater for a 10/22. I'd have kept it if I could. It was made in Germany and is the same design Henry is using now. A very nice gun.
I sold my Rossi M92 in .357 Magnum. That also was a very nice gun, and fun to shoot, but I'm eventually going to replace it with one in .44 Mag or .45 Colt.
The one I have left has a home forever. It's a Winchester 94 Trapper in 30-30. I had a scope on it but decided it made more sense with a Williams receiver sight. It shoots just as well with that as it did with the scope, actually.
The one problem with the 16 inch barrel is that it just can't get 170 grain bullets going fast enough to stabilize. It shoots much better with 150's and I really have to try some 130 flat noses to see what happens. Anyone have a similar experience with the trapper? There's certainly nothing handier in the woods.
Talker

I have a Winchester 94 in .32 Win. Spl. that was made in 1949. It was my grandpa's neighbors rifle till he sold it to my mother. She gave it to me. A few years ago I bought a new 94 Legacy in .30-30 because a wanted a rifle with more easily available ammo. Last year I bought a Marlin 1895. I was really shopping for a Marlin in .35 Rem. or .444, but the .45-70 was there and the others weren't.

one Win 9422, Christmas gift when I was 10! Many,many,many,1000's rnds put through it. Best squirrel getter I got. (that is a lever gun anyways..)
Just bought Win 94 in 357 mag, only shot 300 rnds through it so far, not enough to become familiar with though...(must shoot at least 2000 rnds before I consider myself familiar with a rifle.)

3, right now, looking for a Marlin 39.
1) 70's Marlin 336 (30-30), Deer hunting in PA, what else could I use?.
2) Marlin .38/.357 Carbine, I like to shoot BP loads and got tired of cleaning the brass(.45's), I just chuck the .38's. Bought it used, (like new) for 200.00, couldn't pass on it.
3) Winchester 1873 (Uberti-24" .45colt). Always wanted one of them "Load on Sunday and shoot all week" guns. Nice gun, just for plinking and once in a while CAS.
Doug

My one and only levergun, as of now (sold the 45-70 a few weeks ago) is a spanking new stainless M92 45LC I just got. This one's a beauty!
My next levergun would be the new stainless Guide Gun 45-70, or a longer barrelled version if they intend to offer it. ~~~Suluuq

I presently own 7 lever actions with plans for two Marlin cowboy rifles in the future one in 45/70 and the other in 45 colt. 1)My first is a Marlin 336CS(30/30).I bought it for a spare deer gun. 2)Marlin 1894S(44 MAG)bought this one for a gun to carry in my truck for all around use(varmits,deer,self-defense,plinking,etc.) 3)Marlin 45/70 guide gun.I bought this one for hunting in thick brush. 4)Next was a Marlin 1895SS.I bought this one because,I really liked the 45/70 cartridge that I needed another one to go with my guide gun. 5)Marlin 1894CS(.357 MAG)to have a companion gun for my .357 revolvers. 6)Marlin 1894P(44 MAG),so my wife would have a 44 lever action to shoot, since she liked my other one so much. 7)Marlin 39A(.22 LR),since I liked my other lever guns so much,I needed one for small game hunting.

Right now I've got two, a Marlin 336 in 30-30 and a Browning BLR in 30-06. The 30-30 is probably the classic deer rifle so I had to have one so I bought the Marlin. The 30-06 is my favorite caliber so I bought the BLR. Right now I'm saving my nickles and dimes for one of the new 1895 Cowboys in 45/70 and if I ever run across a BLR in 358 Win or a 336ER in 356 Win I'll grab them both.
