You could have loaded news sounds into the FX3 to make a change. That's one big selling point for the FoxPro, Minaska and GameTraks callers. They can be programmed at home via your computer. The options as far as sounds are pretty much endless.

An e-caller is a great tool, mine spends more time in the truck than the field. That is just one piece. Not to sound like a know it all douche bag but here it is. They will all call critters. A new call is not going to make up for the other stuff. If nothing is coming in, I would look at how hard your areas are getting called, your sets and if you have a good population of animals in your areas. Last year I went and got permission to call 10 more farms. We tried to link them so we could hit them from any angle depending on the wind. Well some are getting called and some are not. Wanna bet which ones produce for me everytime and the others I do not even get a look? WT is the only one on the market I have not killed stuff over. They seem like a quality unit. Foxpro C/S is 2nd to none. I would upgrade to an yours to an FX5 and get some new sounds. The remote is much better and the FX5 will hold more sounds then you will ever need. I have been down this road, you can not buy an animal meaning throwing money at the sport with out doing everything else right is just gonna end up with an empty skinning shed and a thin wallet. YMMV

+1, I have an old FoxPro 416b and it still works but I also carry a variety of mouth calls and am learning to howl. E-calls are good but not the end all.
